2025 Greater Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk Sponsor Information

2025 CROP Walk Sponsorship Packet (Coming Soon)

We are asking local businesses and organizations to consider sponsoring the 45th Annual Greater Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk.  Consider donating to this worthwhile cause while gaining prominent recognition for your business or organization. You can have your company name and/or logo proudly displayed on the event t-shirts, brochures, website, and signage.

Hunger and poverty prevail in our world, and continue to escalate in the current economic conditions.  Currently, one in seven people are food insecure, with half being children.  With your help, hunger can be eradicated.   Locally, the Greater Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk has been supporting our community for 44 years, providing funds to help those in need.  The funds raised locally benefit the Potter’s House Community Kitchen, where 300+ meals are served daily, and support the world-wide efforts of Church World Services, an international organization that works to end hunger, poverty and provide disaster relief around the world.

CWS’s efforts have provided assistance and training for people like Maria William, enabling them to better provide for their families in Kenya. Maria is a mother of five and received help from CWS for a clean water source.  She and her children would have to walk long distances to have clean water.  With a clean water source close by, her family will no longer suffer from water-related diseases.  Maria now has time to sell vegetables in the market and provide a small income for her family, and her children can focus on their studies.

“We are happy because our lives will be prolonged and remain strong and healthy to take care of our families.  I’m sincerely grateful for this project,” remarks a happy Maria who is now assured of feeding her family and having clean water.

Maria is one of many success stories that we can share from the fundraising efforts of the CROP Hunger Walk.  In addition to the international work the CROP Hunger Walks make possible, 25% of the funds raised are utilized here in our own community. Thanks to the generosity of the Greensboro community, more than $110,000 was raised through the 2024 event will be used to help provide hunger and poverty relief efforts locally and globally.

It is our hope that you will join us in the fight against hunger by becoming a sponsor of the 2025 Greater Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk on October 6th.  For as little as $300, your company can become a Greater Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk sponsor.  You will be making a difference in the community while receiving valuable advertising.  For more information on sponsorship levels and the benefits of being a sponsor, please see the enclosed sponsorship brochure.

I hope that you will join us in our on-going efforts to end hunger, food insecurity and poverty.  You will also be helping us continue our 45 year history by making a positive impact on the lives of families locally and globally. If you have any questions, please call the CROP office at 336.553.2641.
